Susie Kohout - Broker-In-Charge, ABR
After 10 years as a McDonald’s franchisee and 10 years as a Marketing Representative for IBM, I changed careers. Sales has always been my profession and in 1999 Real Estate became my passion. After a short time with Remax Real Estate in Clemson, I joined the Carolina Real Estate Team in 2000 and partnered with Tom Winkopp, a Clemson graduate and Realtor /Developer. A 14 year partnership led me to becoming Broker–In-Charge of Tom Winkopp & Associates Realty in 2014.
As the broker for Tom Winkopp & Associate we sold over 400 million dollars’ worth of property in the Clemson/Seneca area. From student condos and single family homes to waterfront developments, this real estate experience has given me the opportunity to work with new home buyers, parents looking to purchase for their Clemson student, alumni seeking second homes, real estate investors, Listing Clients and Buyer Clients for land and commercial properties.
On May 1, 2019 I opened Susie Kohout & Associates Real Estate. Together with my daughter Katherine Gasperik, who has worked with me for 5 years, we have a combined 25 year experience in residential, student housing, second homes and investment properties.
I love working with people and have for 30+ years.

Katherine Gasperik is a 2007 graduate of Clemson University. She became an Associate of the Tom Winkopp & Associates Realty team in 2014 after graduating from The Citadel with her Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
Having lived in Clemson since 1998 - attending Edwards Middle, Daniel High, and Clemson University - Katherine has seen the area grow and change quite a bit and brings an added knowledge of the Upstate’s local residential communities, student developments, Game Day condominiums and second homes for Clemson enthusiasts.
She has been a part of a real estate and development team who has been responsible for many of the area’s most popular residential, student, and Game Day communities. From the planning and construction phase, to the sale and purchase of those properties, this in-depth experience has given her valuable knowledge into the various stages of real estate and its value in the community.
When Tom Winkopp & Associates Realty became Susie Kohout & Associates Real Estate, she became a partner in the business.
Katherine and her husband - a Greenville Firefighter - have been married for 5 years and have a son. They live on a farm in the Clemson area and have a wide range of farm animals.
